Well, I finally got them in. Had my local indy guy do it.
After putting in the BIG Zippers 577 Redshift cams I had a pretty fair amount of valvetrain noise so I was hopeful that these would help...but a little voice inside of me said prepare for the worst and that I shouldn't be surprised if it didn't make a difference.
Well, whadda ya know.
They helped.
Quite a bit.
In fact....I'd say pretty much all the valvetrain racket that I was hearing from the top of the engine is gone.
I am a very satisfied customer.
ANYONE who has their top end redone or gets in there and doesn't drop these in is missing out. For the cost of em, I'd say it's foolish not to automatically include them in any top end when you're boring it out or swapping in big cams.
For $15 what do you have to lose.
