I've seen some done and I know the newer fltrx's have them but on my 2008 anniversary, will it work? I've got the detatchable hardware now and a chrome tribar fender tip light. I've been told some rear fenders have extra holes at the fender tip (maybe for the tip light versus no light?) that will require more bodywork to fill.

I wanna do something on this rear and would love a stretched fender but I need to keep the detatchable hardware too

You can get the fender extension for the 08 back street glide, It will replace the tri bar light you have now, and the detach hardware will go through the antenna holes at the top..You will however have to fill the mounting holes on your fender where the tri bar light mounts, the extension does not cover them up

This is exactly what I needed to know. I figured mine had the extra holes sure to the added tri bar light

The '08 has the older frame so many of the new accessories Harley is coming out with will not fit.
You will need to look at the older models for parts.
